Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service (this “Agreement”) govern your use of spacewaves2.net, including all pages, browser games, guides, directories, and related services we make available (collectively, the “Site”). This Agreement is between you and us as the operators of spacewaves2.net (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We run an independent fan and curator site and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game developer or publisher unless we say so explicitly on a page.

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service and confirm that you are legally permitted to use the Site in your jurisdiction. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Any reference to “you” or “your” means the individual who accesses or uses the Site.

Please read this Agreement carefully. It also incorporates our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information collected through the Site.

1. Changes to these terms

We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Changes do not apply retroactively to disputes that arose before the revised terms were posted, unless required by law.

Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Site at any time, including features accessed through third-party links, without liability to you.

2. Information you submit

Information submitted through the Site is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge that policy.

If you contact us or submit comments, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date where relevant. If there is any conflict between this Agreement and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data, the Privacy Policy controls.

3. Jurisdiction and availability

The Site is operated for a global audience. It may not be appropriate or available for use in every location. You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and rules that apply to you when using the Site.

We may limit or block access to the Site, in whole or in part, for any person, region, or jurisdiction at any time. You use the Site at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful where you are located.

4. Rules of conduct

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Post, transmit, or make available material that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable
  • Use the Site for unauthorized commercial purposes or for any fraudulent or unlawful activity
  • Collect information about other users except as permitted by our Privacy Policy
  • Interfere with the Site, its servers, or networks, including hacking, defacing, or circumventing security measures
  • Restrict or inhibit any other person from using the Site
  • Reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or exploit any portion of the Site without our prior written consent
  • Reverse engineer or disassemble any portion of the Site, except where applicable law prohibits such restriction
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Site
  • Frame, mirror, or incorporate any portion of the Site into another product or service without permission
  • Systematically download, store, scrape, index, or data-mine Site content using automated tools without permission

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for any hardware, software, and internet access needed to use the Site.

5. Monitoring

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, review, or remove user submissions before or after they appear on the Site. We may analyze how the Site is accessed and used to maintain security, improve performance, and enforce these Terms.

We may disclose information about your use of the Site when permitted or required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party materials and links

The Site may provide access to third-party materials, including games, videos, advertisements, and external websites through links, embeds, or similar methods. We do not control third-party content and do not guarantee its accuracy, safety, legality, or availability.

Some third-party materials may be inaccurate or misleading. We are not responsible for intellectual property issues arising from third-party content. We may block or disable access to third-party materials at any time.

Your use of third-party materials is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant providers. Games listed in our Wave Games, Geometry Games, and Arcade Games directories may be operated by independent providers. Game names, logos, and related assets remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and any third-party materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or title.

We work to keep the Site useful and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that content will always be complete or current. Unauthorized changes to the Site by third parties may occur. If you notice suspicious alterations, please contact us at [email protected] with a description and location.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or third-party materials, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We are not liable for any failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Parental controls

Commercial parental control tools (hardware, software, or filtering services) may help restrict access to material that is inappropriate for minors. Information about such tools is available from independent resources such as the Wikipedia comparison of content-control software.

We do not endorse any specific product or service listed on third-party sites.

10. Questions and complaints

If you have questions or complaints about the Site, please contact us or email [email protected].

11. Copyright infringement claims

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, you or your agent may send us a notice requesting removal or blocking of access. If you believe a notice was filed against you in error, you may contact us to explain your position.

Please review our Copyright & DMCA page for required notice details. We recommend consulting legal counsel before filing a notice or counter-notice.

12. Miscellaneous

This Agreement does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, or franchise relationship between you and us. If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign ours without restriction. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision.

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies linked from the Site, is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersedes prior agreements on the same subject. Notices may be sent by email, posted on the Site, or other reasonable means.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].
