The game offers multiple modes to choose from. Pick the one you want, and the dart starts flying immediately. Each mode tracks your completion percentage separately, so you can see your best result at a glance.

What's Geometry Dash: Dart 2.2 Challenge game?
If you enjoy the wave mechanic from Geometry Dash but want something with clear structure and a skin system to work toward, Geometry Dash: Dart 2.2 Challenge is worth your time. You control a dart flying through 14 levels, each with its own fixed layout and a difficulty rating that goes from Easy all the way up to Extreme Demon. The dart moves forward on its own. Your only job is managing its height.
The "2.2" in the name references the Geometry Dash 2.2 update, one of the most anticipated releases in that series. The dart mechanic itself works the same way as the wave mode in Geometry Dash: hold to rise at a 45-degree angle, release to dive at the same angle.
Hold to rise, release to dive
The entire control set is one button. On desktop, hold the left MOUSE button to make the dart climb at a 45-degree angle. Release it and the dart dives at the same angle. On mobile, tap and hold the screen to rise, then release to dive. Every movement traces a diagonal path, so what you are actually doing is deciding where to flip from climb to dive and back again.
That flip point is the only real decision in the game, and it is everything. Short taps create tight zigzags that fit through narrow corridors. Longer holds carry you up through open sections. Getting this timing wrong by even a fraction puts you into a wall or a spike, and the run resets. The layout never changes between attempts, so each crash adds a little more to your mental map of the level.
14 levels, diamonds, and 28 dart skins
The 14 levels are fixed in layout, which means you can genuinely learn each one. Starting from the Easy difficulty and working up teaches you the exact switch timings that the harder levels expect you to already have. By the time you reach Extreme Demon, those habits are built in. Skipping ahead tends to feel more frustrating than productive.
As you play, you collect diamonds that go toward unlocking dart skins. There are 28 skins in total, each costing 100 diamonds. If you want to speed that up, watching a short ad rewards 100 diamonds. Completing levels themselves does not award diamonds directly, but the achievement system tracks your progress across challenges and keeps a record of what you have cleared.

Try Flappy mode for a different challenge
Flappy mode changes how the dart moves and gives the whole run a different rhythm. If the standard wave-style levels start to feel familiar, switching to Flappy mode is a good way to keep things fresh.
