Geometry Vibes X Ball gameplay video
Watch a run through Classic and Race modes to see how the ball handles obstacles and multiplayer chaos.
What's Geometry Vibes X Ball game?
Geometry Vibes X Ball is the sequel to Geometry Vibes, built on the same hold-to-rise, release-to-fall wave flying control but expanded with four distinct game modes, a rebuilt store, and 24 unlockable ball skins. You guide a ball through neon obstacle courses packed with spikes, traps, and spinning gears, aiming for the portal at the end of each stage without touching anything. The goal on every attempt is the same, but what you are doing with that goal shifts completely depending on which mode you pick.
Race Mode is the headline feature. Up to four players share one keyboard, each flying through the same level simultaneously. Crash and you are out. If the round ends in a full crash, it does not count, so the last ball still flying takes it for real. No second screen, no online lobby, just one keyboard and instant competitive chaos.
Hold to rise, release to fall
On desktop, hold MOUSE or SPACEBAR to fly upward; release to drop. In Race Mode with multiple players, the additional balls are controlled with H, L, and ↑. On mobile, tap and hold the screen to rise, release to fall.
The skill is not in learning the control, it only takes a few seconds to understand. The skill is in making the movements small and deliberate. Big swings in height clip spikes. Light, controlled taps keep the ball on a predictable path through tight gaps. Staying away from the screen edges is equally important: running into the border or a wall during an obstacle sequence leaves no room to recover.
Four modes, four different challenges
Classic Mode has 10 levels that scale from beginner to genuinely difficult. The first several levels teach the obstacle vocabulary: spikes, traps, spinning gears, tight corridors. The last three levels use everything at once and expect the reflexes built across the earlier stages. Reach the portal at the end of each level to unlock the next.
Endless Mode removes level structure entirely. There is no finish line and no portal to reach. Your only goal is to go as far as possible without hitting any obstacle or trap. Distance is your score, and the run ends the moment you touch something.
Challenge Mode holds 5 expert stages, each built around a specific obstacle theme that Classic Mode only hints at. These are not extended versions of Classic levels; they are purpose-built tests. Clearing Classic first is the practical path in because the patterns these stages use will end most runs immediately without that foundation.
Race Mode runs the Classic level set with up to four players competing simultaneously on one device. Player 1 uses MOUSE or SPACEBAR, Player 2 uses H, Player 3 uses L, and Player 4 uses ↑. Survival beats speed here. Rushing produces early crashes and hands the round to whoever is still flying calmly at the end.
Skins, trails, and the store
Coins collected mid-flight during any mode are spent in the rebuilt store. The inventory includes 24 ball skins, 16 trail effects, and full color customization options. None of the unlocks affect speed or hitbox, so the progression is purely cosmetic. What it does is give every run a secondary purpose: even a failed attempt on a hard level sends you back to the menu with coins in hand, which makes the reset loop feel productive rather than punishing.
How to fly cleaner and reach more portals
- Make small, controlled taps rather than big hold-and-release cycles. Wide height swings are the most common cause of spike collisions in tight sections.
- Keep the ball away from the screen edges. The borders offer zero recovery room when an obstacle slides in from the side.
- Work through Classic levels 1 to 8 before attempting level 9, 10, or anything in Challenge Mode. The early levels introduce every mechanic the harder stages recombine.
- In Race Mode, fly clean and wait. Aggressive players tend to crash themselves. The winner is usually the one who stays patient while the others rush into traps.

How to Play Geometry Vibes X Ball

Pick a mode and learn the single control

Dodge spikes, gears, and moving blocks
The ball moves forward automatically. Use small, controlled holds and releases to weave through spikes, traps, and spinning gears. Stay away from the screen edges and read obstacles ahead of the ball, not directly beneath it, so you have time to adjust.

Reach the portal and collect coins
Clear the level by reaching the end portal. Coins picked up mid-run unlock skins and trail effects in the store. Once Classic is clear, open Challenge Mode for the 5 expert stages, or set up Race Mode with up to 3 friends sharing the same keyboard.
